The International Observatory of Participatory Democracy invites you to participate and collaborate on the debate promoted by all the network partners.

We believe that through the debate we can promote instruments and strength the exercise of an active citizenship in the discussion, decision and implementation of public policies.

You must be a member of the network before you can join the work groups. Communication will be carried out by email directly with the contact person in the coordinating city, with a copy to oidp@bcn.cat

Children and Youth - Citizenship and Participatory Processes

Coordinated by the Junta of Freguesía de Carnide (Portugal)
The objectives include: compiling a collection of projects on this subject to build a database available for all IOPD members who wish to use it; promoting discussion on participatory processes that involve children and youth and identifying mutual concerns and job proposals; and encouraging the implementation of youth projects that can culminate in participant exchanges.
Please consult the Framework Document for all relevant information. We would urge you to participate, especially because this subject is closely related to the theme of the 9th Annual Conference to be held in Reggio Emilia.
