Presentation of the I OIDP Award and a description of the experience of the city cited by the jury as a Best Practice.

Round Table - "Participatory Democracy in suburban cities: solidary and democratic metropolises"

Suburban Local Authorities Forum (FALP) for Social Inclusion

This round table is to be organised by the FALP network and will focus on the presentation of projects and the network itself together with the presentation of the minutes of the last FALP held in Nanterre, France

Simultaneous Working Groups

In order to provide a more in-depth discussion of the three Main Themes, the Conference is to use a working methodology that gives priority to the knowledge of all its participants.

Presentation of the Conclusions of the Working Groups

The discussion of each group will give rise to a set of written conclusions which will include the main ideas and proposals about each issue.

Round Table with International Institutions

The goal of this round table is to stimulate debate about the role of international institutions in supporting and deepening participatory democracy. It will also be an excellent opportunity for these institutions to describe to conference participants both what they do in terms of participatory democracy and local government and also their programmes.

Summary of the event from the opening presentation to the conclusions of the working groups.
