The Mayor of London has launched #CrowdfundLDN - a £1m fund to support projects that benefit local communities.

What is Crowdfund London?
Crowdfund London gives to citizens the opportunity to pitch new ideas - big or small - for community-led projects to make their local area even better.
The best could attract a pledge of up to £50,000 from the Mayor, who wants to back crowdfunding campaigns that demonstrate local support.
In 2018 London City Council have up to £1m to support creative local projects, with more in future years.
How to get involved in 2018
"You and your community need to come together to create something new and exciting to benefit the whole neighbourhood. We’ve prepared some resources to help you get started and organised some events to help you plan. Sign up to find out everything you need to know.
You’ll need to be ready to run a crowdfunding campaign and pitch to our fund on partner website Spacehive by 3rd September. The Mayor will pledge to campaigns towards the end of October and if all goes well, you’ll have your cash at the beginning of 2019."
