The North American organization IOPD member launches this initiative to exchange participatory innovations.
This Global Hub on participatory budgeting will coordinate the exchange of knowledge, research, learning and the development of resources for professionals and advocates of this participatory practice all around the world.
It will be based on the knowledge and experience of implementers and collaborators around the globe. It seeks to map existing knowledge and identify priorities for new research and new participatory budgeting resources. The organizers are encouraging you to sign up for this project.
The project and its idea, was born from funds from the "William and Flora Hewlett foundation", which contributed with an amount of approximately $ 560,000 as the main donor for the realization of this project.
