Last 17th February 2017 took place in Conil de la Frontera (Cadiz, Spain) a meeting about participatory budgets with the participation of several mayors and councilors of Andalusian municipalities committed to citizen participation. This working day was organized by Conil City Council and CogLobal. The various mayors present signed a declaration in which they are committed to guarantee mechanisms to promote participatory democracy and participatory budgets, advancing in an Andalusian agenda of mutual support, promotion and visibility of democratic innovation.

The first round table was moderated by Andrés Falck, director of Coglobal, with the participation of the coordinator of the Technical Secretariat of the IOPD Adrià Duarte, with Claudia Delso, councilor of participation of A Coruña and Nelson Dias coordinator of Portugal Participa (the Portuguese network of Participatory Municipalities).

In this table the articulation of the networks of municipalities and practical cases of participatory democracy were discussed and Claudia Delso explained that A Coruña will organize the 4^th Iberian Meeting of Democracy and Participatory Budgeting in 2018.

Then, an exchange table of experiences from different cities of Andalusia Cordoba, Dos Hermanas, Peligros, Conil de la Frontera and Alameda took place. Each councilor explained his experiences in citizen participation, as well as challenges and problems that must be faced in these fields. Finally, in the afternoon, it was celebrated a dynamic workshop with all participants, to find out how to articulate the exchange network of experience among Andalusian municipalities.
